Ephesians 4:19

1. According to Jesus humanity’s actions flow from the heart (Matthew 12:33-35 & Matthew 15:10-20). According to the world, where do humanity’s actions flow from? Give examples to support your answer
2. Why is it easier for a church to focus on behavior modification rather than heart transformation?
3. What are the 3 requirements of a good work or a righteous act? Which of the 3 requirements do the unsaved fail at every time and why?
4. What are some sins in our culture that are celebrated or flaunted without shame or embarrassment? What are sins from our past that we used to celebrate or flaunt without shame or embarrassment?
5. Read I Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21, and Ephesians 5:3-6. What is your gut reaction to these passages?  What do you find discouraging or encouraging about these verses?
6. Sinful man, those without Christ, are “greedy to practice every kind of impurity.” In what ways were you “greedy to practice every kind of impurity” before you repented of your sin and believed in the Gospel for salvation? 
7. The only hope for those with an insatiable desire for sin is the Gospel but what are some false hopes that believers have wrongly trusted in to transform sinner’s lives?
8. In addition to sexual purity, what are some ways that you this week can be radically distinct from how you once were and radically distinct from how the world around you is?
