Community Groups are a vital part of the life & ministry of MBC. They are one of the main avenues for families to connect to other MBC members & be a part of MBC discipleship.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A COMMUNITY GROUP?
Many things take place, and each group works a bit differently…but it all starts by taking time to read the Bible passage that was preached on Sunday morning. After the passage is read, the group unpacks the passage & the sermon through questions that MBC provides for each community group. After this, the group typically ends with prayer for one another.
WHEN & WHERE DO THEY MEET?
Small groups meet throughout the week in homes in Yakima, Gleed, Selah & Naches. Most small groups meet in the evening hours after dinner & usually last for 2 hours.
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED IN A COMMUNITY GROUP?
We would love to help you get involved in one of our current small groups or to help us launch a new small group. For more information about MBC Community Groups, contact Matt Cobb at (509) 966.6500 or by email at mcobb@mbcyakima.com
