Matthew 25:1-13

1) Now that we are through Matthew 24, what is your perspective of the chapter? Do you feel like you have it covered or is it still confusing or perplexing?

 

2) What did pastor Nate explain about the historical understanding/significance of the virgins and the lamps?

 

3) Think of the five prepared virgins. Who are they?

a) What kind of behaviors do they practice?

b) What do their spiritual disciplines look like?

c) How do they spend their time and money?

4) Now, do the same for the five unprepared virgins. Same questions!

5) The passage clearly impresses upon us the need to be prepared. We should discuss how to be prepared, but also, how do we know if we are prepared?

b) What things can convince us or unconvince us that we are prepared?
