Ephesians 2:19-22

1. What is reconciliation and how was it accomplished on behalf of all followers of Christ?

2. Explain both horizontal and vertical reconciliation

3. Followers of Christ, have access to God from anywhere, at any time, with anything. Share a time when you experienced this truth in a powerful way.

4. Followers of Christ are: citizens of God’s Kingdom, members of God’s household, and stones of God’s temple. As a Christian, which of these three realities, stands out to you the most and why.  Which of these three was the most unfamiliar to you?

5. Read Matthew 16:13 – 18. The Church, the body of Christ will prevail, it cannot be stopped; how does this marvelous reality encourage you?

6. Have you ever tried fasting for spiritual reasons? Did you fast lunch on Monday?  If so, what was difficult and what was encouraging about the time? 

7. Read Matthew 6:16-18. Jesus assumes that His followers will fast.  How are you, moving forward, going to incorporate fasting into the rhythm of your life?

8. Spend some time praising God for His attributes!
