Ephesians 4:4A

1. What is a creed and why are they beneficial to the Church? Could a creed be harmful to the Church? 
2. Followers of Christ are convinced, from Scripture, that there is one universal body of believers, the Church. What does that mean and why is it an incredible reality?
3. Followers of Christ are certain that the Holy Spirit is truly, fully God; the third Person of the Trinity. What does that mean and why is it important?  What are some misconceptions of the Holy Spirit inside and outside of the Church?
4. Followers of Christ are sure that the Spirit of God regenerates the people of God. What does that mean and why does it matter?
5. Believers are convinced that God the Spirit sanctifies or purifies the people of God. What does that mean and what does the Holy Spirit use to sanctify followers of Christ? 
6. What brother or sister in Christ at MBC has been used by the Spirit of God to cleanse you from sin and make you holy?
7. Followers of Christ are sure that the Holy Spirit guides or directs the people of God. How has this marvelous reality been abused by people; share an experience you have had with this?
8. Followers of Christ are certain that the Spirit of God convicts the people of God. What does this mean and why is it a beautiful thing?
9. How has the Holy Spirit equipped you (what talents or gifts has He given you) to advance the Gospel?
10. God the Spirit assures people that they belong to Christ and have eternal life. How has the Holy Spirit assured you of your salvation in the past?
11. Share one way that the Holy Spirit graciously and powerfully worked in your life over the past year.
12. Read/Recite Romans 8:38, 39 together.
