Exodus 13:17-22

  1. Read Exodus 13:17 – 22
  1. Did anything in particular stand out from today’s sermon?
  1. Briefly describe a time that the LORD led you on a long, complicated, and difficult path through life. How did the LORD use this situation for your good?
  1. What individual from MBC, who has gone to be with the LORD, continues to point you to the LORD because they lived a holy life for the LORD? What in particular about this individual continues to point you to the LORD today?
  1. The LORD was leading two million people into a desert where food and water would be scarce. Based on your prior knowledge of the Exodus, what are some ways in which Yahweh would demonstrate His greatness to the Israelites on their journey through the wilderness?
  1. We know that the LORD is good, faithful, righteous, loving, and wise, and yet we question His ways. Why?
  1. What comes to mind when you ponder the fact that the Holy Spirit is always with us, permanently resides in us, leads us in the Truth, and will lead us in the Truth all the way home?
  1. What particular truth from the Scriptures has the Holy Spirit been encouraging you with in the month of September?
  1. Pray for the people of MBC to look to the LORD for strength, comfort, hope, joy, and peace in the midst of long, complicated, and difficult times.
