Exodus 14:1-14

1. Read Exodus 14:1 - 14

2. It was stated that Yahweh is the One, True God who works in ways that are baffling and breathtaking for His glory and the good of His people. Share some examples of this from Scripture.

3. What is an example of the LORD working in baffling and breathtaking ways in your own life? 

4. What does it mean for God to get glory?

5. Who do you know at MBC that holds a position of authority and exercises it in a manner that is a blessing to those under their authority and pleasing to the LORD?

6. What are some reasons that it is difficult to exercise authority over others in a manner that is pleasing to the LORD? What examples come to mind when you think of a leader who was corrupted by power?

7. What words or phrases come to mind when you think about the term leadership?

8. Why is leadership often difficult? What are some ways that leaders can honor the LORD when facing those who oppose their leadership?  Can you think of a leader who has exalted the LORD while facing opposition to their leadership?

9. What do you find remarkable about the gift of salvation graciously given to us by God through Jesus Christ?
