Exodus 6:28-7:7

1. Read Exodus 6:28 - 7:7.

2. The LORD graciously provided Aaron to assist Moses with his ineloquence. Who has the LORD provided to help you with a particular limitation you possess?

3. Yahweh made clear to Moses and Aaron that they were not to deviate or omit anything from His message to Pharaoh. What are some of the reasons that we are tempted to change, disregard, or twist the Word of God?

4. What are some examples of churches changing, disregarding, or twisting the Word of God?

5. What questions, if any, flood your mind when you read in verse 3 that Yahweh “will harden Pharaoh’s heart?”

6. Read Romans 9:13 – 24. How does this portion of Scripture help us understand Exodus 6:28 – 7:7? 

7. Yahweh made known to Moses that the Egyptians would know that He is the LORD through His great acts of judgment. How does God’s righteous judgment lead people to know Him and bring Him glory?

8. Verse 6 makes clear that Moses obeyed the LORD’s instruction. Read James 1:22-25. Why is obeying the LORD’s instructions good?

9. What commonly prevents you from living in obedience to God’s Word?

10. Recount how you have been blessed by God as a result of obedience to His Word.

11. Spend some time praying that we will be people who are delighted to obey God’s Word.
