Matthew 21:1-11

1. What details in the passage stand out to you about how Jesus enters Jerusalem? What seems intentional or symbolic about His actions (the donkey, the crowd, their words)?

2. The crowd calls Jesus “Son of David” and a prophet. What do these titles mean, and what do they reveal (or misunderstand) about who Jesus truly is?

3. This event fulfills prophecy (especially from the Book of Zechariah 9:9). Why is it significant that Jesus enters on a donkey rather than as a conquering king on a war horse?

4. The crowds respond with excitement and praise (“Hosanna”). In what ways can outward enthusiasm for Jesus differ from genuine faith and submission to Him?

5. How should recognizing Jesus as the true King shape the way we live this week (as in our priorities, humility, and obedience)?
