Exodus 9:13-35

1. Read Exodus 9:13-35.

2. What stands out to you from the plague of hail?

3. How did God demonstrate mercy and grace to Pharaoh, the Egyptians, and the Hebrews throughout today’s passage?

4. Everyone desperately needs a right, proper view of Yahweh, the One, True, Living God. What book or podcast has helped you develop a biblical view of the LORD?

5. Obeying the Word of God, by the power of the Spirit of God, for the glory of God is a blessing to others and ourselves. How have you seen your obedience to God’s Word bless others?

6. Pharaoh minimized his sin by referring to it as the first time he had sinned, describing his sin as a mistake, and including others in his sin. Why is it tempting for us to act like Pharaoh and minimize our sin?

7. Who, from the Scriptures, besides Christ, do you consider to be faithful to their word? Who is someone that you know personally who can be completely counted on to do what they have said they will do?

8. Why is being true to one’s word a blessing to others and ourselves

9. Pray that MBC would be a people who are faithful to God’s Word and faithful to our own word.
