Exodus 2:1-22

Verses 1-10: 

1. Why do you think Moses’ parents chose to hide him for three months despite the danger? What does this reveal about their faith and courage?

2. What can we learn from the actions of Moses’ mother in making the basket and placing him in the Nile? How does this demonstrate trust in God’s plan?

3. How does Pharaoh’s daughter’s decision to save Moses reflect God’s providence in using unexpected people to fulfill His purposes?

Verses 11-15

4. What does Moses’ reaction to being seen by others (killing the Egyptian and hiding the body) teach us about human responses to guilt and fear?
