Matthew 10:34-39
1. We began by being reminded that the call of Matthew 10 is not to casual discipleship, but devoted discipleship.
-What competes for the devotion of your life? (Time, attention, energy)

2. In Matthew 10:34-36, we see that the sword that Jesus brings divides relationships that are precious...
-What are the reasons you've heard that people reject the gospel?
-How is hostility seen for following Christ in our current context?
3. In Matthew 10:37-38, Jesus points out the one who is worthy to be a disciple as the one who submits to Jesus as Lord over all.
-When presented with these verses, how does it change the way we talk about what it means to follow Christ? Both among Christians & those considering Christianity?
