Exodus 3:1-10

.) Moses found himself in a place he never expected. Have you ever experienced a season where life didn’t turn out the way you thought it would? How did that shape your trust in God’s plan?

.) God used the burning bush to capture Moses’ attention. How has God used unexpected events or circumstances to get your attention and draw you closer to Him?

.) God commanded Moses to take off his sandals because he was standing on holy ground. How does recognizing God’s holiness affect the way we approach Him in worship, prayer, and daily life?

.) Moses hid his face because he recognized the complete otherness of God. What does it mean that God is utterly beyond us, and how should that impact our awe, trust, and obedience?

.) Though God is completely holy and transcendent, He also draws near to His people and knows their suffering. How have you experienced God’s nearness in difficult seasons of life?

.) Moses was commissioned to go to Pharaoh, a task that seemed impossible. Jesus has also sent us into the world to make disciples. Jesus said, “I am with you always, to the end of the age”. How does the reality of God’s presence shape our daily lives and our mission as His people?
