3. How has God, in His grace, trained you for godliness this past year?

4. What are the two ways grace is commonly misapplied in the local church?

5. The Lord promised to perform two extraordinary miracles on behalf of His people: bread from Heaven in the morning and meat in the evening for over a million Israelites in the middle of nowhere. What is another miracle of God that you find extraordinary in the Old or New Testament?

6. What stood out to you about the conclusion of the sermon where Pastor Nate talked about prayer?

7. When it seems as if God is not with us, what portions of Scripture can we turn to for the purpose of reminding ourselves that God is with us?

8. What are some ways that we can keep ourselves and each other from praying flippantly or mindlessly?
