Exodus 20:22-26

What thoughts come to your mind when you consider the many, many laws found in the Book of the Covenant (Exodus 20:22 – 23:33)?

The Law of God reveals the character of God! As we went through the laws of God found in Exodus 20:22–26, what was one attribute of God that was pointed out during the sermon, and how does it inform the way we live as followers of Christ today?

Why is the prohibition against idolatry found repeatedly throughout the Scriptures?

At the end of the sermon it was said, “We can worship God anywhere because we are God’s temple (principle of locality) but if we are going to please and exalt God in our worship of Him from anywhere we must worship God in a manner that is distinct from the world around us (principle of holiness), we must keep our focus solely on God during our worship of Him (principle of simplicity), and we must keep the finished work of Christ at the center of our worship (principle of sacrifice).” As you consider the statement, what stands out to you?
