Exodus 12:7-13

2. What did you find interesting, encouraging, or challenging about the sermon today?

3. Why is it important to name or identify the specific spiritual blemish that mars our Christlikeness? Why is it important to name or identify the specific virtue which mirrors Christlikeness and is opposite of the specific spiritual blemish that mars our Christlikeness?

4. What are some reasons why we may not specifically name or identify a particular sin in our lives?

5. How does the Passover point to the propitiatory, substitutionary, and redeeming work of Christ?

6. We have been redeemed from our enslavement to sin and spared from the wrath of God by the Son of God, Jesus Christ, because of God’s love for us. When you think of God’s love, what words or images come to mind?

7. I John 4:11 makes clear that the appropriate response to God’s love for us is love for fellow followers of Christ. What, besides serving one another, are some ways that we can demonstrate love for one another at MBC?

9. Pastor Nate emphasized the importance of gathering with one another regularly on Sunday mornings at MBC. What may need to be removed from your life in order that you can consistently gather with God’s people on Sunday mornings at MBC?
